Agriculture en Bretagne

Les agriculteurs bretons commencent leurs travaux dans les champs. Cette parcelle de blé, semée fin octobre, sera  normalement récoltée fin juillet.
La terre étant à faible potentiel, (car riche en limons), la culture de céréales (mais) aurait été plus favorable.
Le rendement prévu, sera donc plus faible, soit autour de 80 qtx / ha.
Nous pourrons, grâce à son exploitant (Lionel) voir l'évolution, dans le temps, de cette parcelle.

The Brittany farmers start now their work in fields. This wheat plot was sown in October and will be harvested in July. Because of the poor quality ground (limons), the corn growing  would be more convenient. The yield per hectare will be weak: only 80 quintal. Thanks to the farmer (Lionel), we will have the opportunity to follow on regular basis the evolution of this growing.
